The Cassier Hwy was nice except for those dirt sections that remind me of the Dalton Hwy. Saw two more Black bears. For the most part Canadian drivers are more law abiding than the US ones. Learned a new rule in Canada today, Motorcyclist move to the front of the line in construction zones to help protect them from hazards such as tar/ gravel. What a great country, their road signs are fun to decipher too. I was not able to go to Hyder, AK or Stewart, BC as I didn't have the time or tread left to travel the extra 80 miles, maybe next time on a Harley.
The water pump still is not leaking, praise God...and the tire is still holding on to some tread, pretty confident I can make it to Montana and Wyoming before making a decision on it. Hope I can make it to Sturgis. New problem, motorcycle is making strange noises at slow speeds, that seem to disappear when I hit the rear brake. I’ll investigate tomorrow before heading into Jasper and Banff (just realized I've been misspelling that park) in Alberta. Should be in the lower 48 by the 25th of July. I currently have 81,860 miles on the Goldwing, that's over 10,000 miles for the Alaskan Adventure so far. Estimating 3,500 more miles until it finds TN.
