That was our first Ferry ride, was a little nervous in the beginning.  Dawson City is where Jack London wrote some of his famous books like Call of the Wild.

Memories of the Klondike Gold Miners and a city that takes you back to the old west days, but with internal combustion engines, what a life.

Dawson City was just finishing up with a Music Festival.  We didn’t find anywhere to stay while walking around and after getting fuel we headed on down the highway looking for a campground.  The Milepost is our only survival guide now, relying heavily on it once again.

Back of the bike is a telltale sign of dirt roads A motorcycle approaches from the opposite direction

We found a campsite as it was getting dark and had a nice breakfast in the camp lodge.
